I'm sick of artists like Seether and Breaking Benjamin being labeled as goth. Gothic music has been wrongly stigmatized. Remember the Cure perhaps? This guy's got the vibe. Refreshingly depressing instrumentals with beautifully depressing vocals. Just like gothic music should be. Great album to listen to if you're just chilling at midnight alone. I picked up a copy of this tonight at the record shop. Well worth the price. And this is free. So cop it.

I found an original mono pressing of this at the local record collector store. It was 5 bucks, because the original owner had written her name on the back of it. Probably one of the best soundtrack albums ever. I also found an original pressing of "Revolver", one of their most famous albums.

These guys are also at the top of their game, though still under the radar in the serious music world. They were whored on MySpace for weeks, and you will recognize at least two of the songs on this album from television commercials. "Cobrastyle" and "Different Sound".

Eclectic indie rock/pop from Australia. They're one of those 71 member bands where everybody plays whatever. Pretty unique stuff. They use a lot of non-traditional instruments, recorders, brass/woodwind instruments as well as a wide variety of obscure percussion instruments.

Indie rock band from my hometown of Omaha, Nebraska! I think this show was probably the most fun show I've been to. The percussion on this album consists of only tap dancing, tambourine, and on a couple of tracks, a drum machine (808 maybe?). Very energetic.
